CAST FESTIVAL ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

Last updated: AUGUST 2025

CAST Festival is committed to ensuring that all our events are welcoming, inclusive, and accessible to everyone. We believe theatre should be for all, and we are actively working to make our performances and venues as accessible as possible.

1. Venues

• Venue accessibility will be clearly on our website.

• Accessible toilets are available at all venues.

• Reserved seating for wheelchair users and companions is available on request.

• Assistance dogs are welcome.

2. Accessible Performances

Where possible, we aim to provide:

• Captioned performances

• Audio-described performances

• Relaxed performances for audiences who would benefit from a more informal environment

Details of accessible performances will be clearly listed in our festival programme and on our website.

3. Booking Assistance

If you have specific requirements, please contact us before booking so we can make sure your visit is as smooth as possible. We are happy to:

• Reserve appropriate seating

• Provide companion tickets where needed

• Offer guidance on parking and transport options

Contact: info@castfest.co.uk

4. Website Accessibility

We are working to make the CAST Festival website accessible to as many users as possible by:

• Using plain language

• Ensuring good colour contrast

• Adding alternative text for images

• Designing for use with screen readers and keyboard navigation

If you encounter any accessibility barriers on our website, please let us know so we can improve.

5. Ongoing Commitment

We recognise that accessibility is an ongoing process. We welcome feedback and suggestions from our audiences, artists, and community on how we can continue to improve.
